Lately it has been raining. A lot. In fact I cannot remember ever having such a soggy February/early March. But no complaints from me because I have rainbows in my windows, makeshift greenhouses incubating seeds and resting on heating pads in my dining room, freshly cut soap is curing in my studio and everything outside looks fresh and clean. And new. Spring, Spring, Spring. You can smell it in the air. Or perhaps that is the warm soil scent wafting in from my dining room seed factory. Mother Nature’s aromatherapy!
We also fostered this little cattle dog recently. She was picked up as a stray and nobody ever showed up to claim her. She was the sweetest house guest, so polite. Almost too polite for my rowdy crew! Good with dogs, cats, kids, chickens, bunnies – she is just a gem! After weeks of waiting for someone to call for her we finally gave up and sent her off to a new forever home with my dad where she will be pampered and loved. And we can visit Polly anytime we want!
Spring. Welcome back. I’ve missed you, so much.
